The Hamlin community is hosting a Petalpalooza this weekend in Horizon West. 

Petalpalooza will be a day of flowers and fun where attendees can purchase pre-arranged fresh flowers, succulents and plants from local florists, or have them design a unique arrangement. 

Featured local florists will include No. 1 Flowers, Betty J’s Florist, Juno and Tinker Garten. 

In addition, there will be live music with Tre Jones, free kid’s crafts and a free caricaturist. 

The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 16406 New Independence Parkway.
